Return, Exchange & Alteration Policy
At Dalma, every garment is thoughtfully designed and crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Most of our pieces are made-to-order, ensuring exclusivity, superior craftsmanship, and a tailored experience for each customer. We kindly request you to read our policy carefully before placing an order.
Payment & Order Confirmation
- We currently accept both Pre-Paid and Cash on Delivery (COD) orders across India.
- Pre-paid orders are eligible for higher discount benefits as compared to COD orders.
- For sizes above XL (XXL to 7XL), 50% advance payment is mandatory at the time of order confirmation.
- Production for these sizes will commence only after the advance payment is received.
- This policy is in place due to increased fabric consumption, embroidery scaling, and production costs involved in larger sizes.
Return Eligibility
- Returns are accepted only within 7 working days from the date the order is delivered.
- Items must be unused, unwashed, unaltered, and in original condition, with all tags and packaging intact.
- Any signs of wear, stains, damage, or alteration will render the product ineligible for return.
- Returns will not be accepted for custom-size, made-to-measure, or personalized orders.
Exchange Policy
- Product exchanges are permitted only for sizes up to XL.
- Exchanges must be requested within 7 working days of delivery.
- Exchange requests are subject to stock availability.
- Exchanges are not applicable for:
- Sizes above XL
- Custom-size orders
- Sale or discounted merchandise
Alterations
- Size alterations are available for eligible products.
- All courier and shipping charges for alteration requests must be borne by the customer.
- Alteration requests must be raised within 7 working days of delivery.
- Alterations are not applicable for sale or discounted products.
Sale / Discounted Items
- No returns, exchanges, refunds, or alterations are applicable on sale or discounted merchandise.
- These purchases are considered final sale.
COD Orders
- Orders placed under Cash on Delivery (COD) are verified before dispatch.
- Repeated refusal of COD orders or non-acceptance at delivery may lead to restriction of future COD services for the customer.
- Dalma reserves the right to cancel COD orders at its discretion in cases of high-value or custom production orders.
Custom Sizing Disclaimer
- Customers who are unsure of standard sizing are strongly encouraged to opt for custom sizing to ensure the best fit.
- Custom-size orders are non-returnable and non-exchangeable.
Quality Check & Damages
- All products undergo strict quality checks before dispatch.
- In the rare event of receiving a damaged or incorrect product, customers must notify us within 48 hours of delivery, along with clear images and an unboxing video.
- Claims raised beyond this period may not be accepted.
Refunds
- Refunds, where applicable, will be processed after the returned item has passed our quality inspection.
- Refunds will be issued to the original mode of payment.
- COD refunds will be processed via bank transfer after verification.
